Terms and Conditions
We do our absolute best to make sure you get the right parts the first time. If you have a problem with something, don’t automatically assume you need to return it, we can often solve problems right over the phone and get you working on your project right away. If you do need to return parts for any reason, please read and follow these procedures. We don’t like that it takes a page of text to do this but it prevents your parts from being lost, refused, delayed, etc.
- Returns must be pre-authorized. Call or email us before you ship for return authorization.
- Returns must include a copy of the original invoice in the box. We can send a copy when you call for authorization.
- Customer is responsible for all shipping cost associated with a return where Offroad Design is not at fault. This includes original shipping costs and all return shipping costs.
- Custom parts cannot be returned.
- Returns need to be received in the same condition they were shipped in. Bare steel parts need to be rust free and returned in bare steel condition.
- Customer is responsible for secure packaging for return shipment, extra packing in the box to keep parts from damaging each other and a strong box with lots of heavy tape are recommended.
- Parts returned within 60 days for credit on account or exchange are not subject to a restock fee.
- Parts returned within 60 days for refund are subject to a 10% restock fee.
- Parts returned within 6 months for refund are subject to a 15% restock fee.
- Returns after 6 months are not accepted
- In all cases, damaged parts and partial returns are subject to a higher restock fee and may not be taken back at all at Offroad Design’s discretion.
If Offroad Design ships an incorrect part, Offroad Design will organize return shipping and ship the correct part when return is received. If the customer does not want to wait for return to be received, a new part must be ordered and a refund will be issued for the wrong one when received. Replacement part shipping will be covered by Offroad Design.
If Offroad Design ships an incorrect part, we will cover replacement part shipping at the same shipping speed as the initial order. Faster shipping upgrade charges must be covered by the customer.
The carrier has the responsibility for the shipment from the time it leaves our warehouse until it is delivered. If your parts arrive damaged, report the damage to the delivery driver and contact Offroad Design immediately. We will coordinate a damage claim with the carrier. Save all packaging as it can be important to the claim process. Failure to report shipping damage promptly will result in denial of a damage claim.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Terms of Payment: We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. Bank transfers, cashier’s checks and money orders can be arranged. No open accounts. No COD’s. Payments must be made in U.S. funds.
Timing of charges: Credit cards are charged when your order is placed.
Sales Tax: We currently charge sales tax in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Utah, and Washington. These states are subject to change.
Shipping carriers: Orders will be shipped from our Carbondale, Colorado location. Carriers available are UPS and USPS. Carrier will be chosen based on price and reliability for your shipment. Truck freight is available on large shipments.
Shipping from Manufacturer: Products being drop shipped from manufacturer are shipped at manufacturers discretion for carrier and time frame. If express shipping is needed, please give us a call to see if that option is available.
Shipping amount: We charge for shipping based on actual shipping charges. There is a small packaging/handling fee for all orders shipped. If you pick the order up at our shop in Carbondale CO, there is no packaging charge.
Duties and Import Fees: Any duties or fees related to shipping products outside the United States are the responsibility of the buyer. No exceptions.
Shipment timing: Most items will ship within 24 hours. We do our best to help with personalized timeframes. If you need your order quick, let us know and we’ll do all we can to help. If parts are out of stock we give our best estimate of the timeframe for shipment. Please note that certain productsand custom orders may have longer lead times than others; contact us for the most current lead times for the product(s) you are interested in purchasing.
Damage Claims: Offroad Design products are carefully packaged and leave our facility damage free. The carrier has the responsibility for the shipment from the time it leaves our warehouse until it is delivered. Any claims for the damage or lost goods should be reported to the carrier and to Offroad Design as soon as possible to begin the claim process. Failure to report damaged shipments promptly often results in the denial of damage claims.
Limited Warranty: This limited warranty is extended only to an individual who purchases a product manufactured by Offroad Design, Inc. All of the conversion components and products made by Offroad Design, Inc. are intended only for off road use. Before using any such product, Offroad Design, Inc. recommends that you check your local and state vehicle laws to be sure that your contemplated use is permitted in the applicable jurisdiction concerning your vehicle modification.
Products manufactured by Offroad Design, Inc. are guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and craftsmanship before installation. Offroad Design, Inc. cannot control the severity of off road terrain, your off road driving habits, and quality of your installation of its products, or any combination of these and other factors. The purchaser and/or user of Offroad Design, Inc. manufactured products understands and agrees that no warranty is offered concerning the performance of its manufactured products after installation.
This warranty is limited to replacement of a defective product before installation, provided the product has not been modified or damaged. No claims of any type whatsoever will be considered after installation. This limited pre-installation warranty DOES NOT include freight charges, cost incurred due to down time of the vehicle, or any other consequential losses. The pre-installation warranty is limited to the value of the merchandise purchased, and is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed, or implied.
Due to lack of control over products supplied to Offroad Design, Inc. by other manufactures, such products carry only the manufacturers warranty, and carry no Offroad Design, Inc. warranty whatsoever, implied or otherwise. You should request, in advance of your purchase, notification of terms of any warranty which may apply to accessories manufactured by others and distributed by Offroad Design, Inc. Purchasers and users of products sold by Offroad Design, Inc. rely upon their own judgment as to the suitable use, selection, service, and installation of such products. The remedies set forth in this limited warranty are the exclusive remedies available.
