Summary

    Burly Burb is a shop truck that we had that was a great budget rig. This burb got the family out and exploring! It's been to Moab doing trails like Kane Creek, Hells Revenge, and Steel bender. It did well for a big rig without lockers. It was used on many camping trips to haul the whole family and gear. 

    For the suspension it is running a set of 3" Tuff country EZ rides. These are a great budget spring with low spring rates. 

    To correct the steering after the lift we installed a drop pitman arm. This bolts in onto the stock 4x4 steering box. To help prevent the cracks that commonly happen behind the steering box we added a box brace.

    To overcome the sag that happens in the rear of suburbans a 4" shackle flip was added to level things out. 

    Keeping the suspension theme going, we added a set of greaseable bushings all the way around to ensure longevity and to keep the springs moving freely.

    With the added height and more flex we installed a set of our braided extended brake lines. 

     

    A lot of people asked for more info on this, so we decided to load up the pics. Below are some pictures of when we out boarded the shocks on the suburban. Outboard the shocks gains more stability and also lets the shock do more work.
