Trail Ready Beadlock Wheels

After trying out Trail Ready's prototype 16.5" beadlock wheels we decided to add them to our product list. They build 15", 16" and 16.5" beadlock wheels out of steel and aluminum.  Yes, that's correct, they have a beadlock wheel for the 16.5" tires!  They lock the outer bead with a beefy 3/8" aluminum ring and use 20 bolts to clamp it down. 

One nice feature of the Trail Ready's is they use a bolt and nut to retain the clamp ring instead of a nut insert so if a thread gets damaged you just put on a new nut.  The wheels have an index ring for the bead of the tire to seat against so you should have a very true combination for best balance.  We don't have balance weights on our 42" TSL'd 16.5" wheels and they run as smooth as a 42" tire can.

We use the 16.5's on our green K5 to keep the 5" backspacing and keep the track width a little narrower to help us fit in tighter places a bit better.  The 42's are about 86" to the outsides of the sidewalls.  We have friends running up to a full 96" outside!  As you can see our wheels have a some scrapes and gouges but overall have been pounded and taken it in stride.

The 15" wheels will need 3" backspacing to work best on a D60 or D44 8 lug.
