HD Steering Linkage

As our customers move to larger tires and more difficult terrain, the stock steering linkage takes a real beating.  So we offer heavy duty tie rods and draglinks to keep you steering straight.  All of our tubes are thick wall DOM tubing reamed for a precise thread fit rather than using thinner wall tubing with variable inside diameters.  You'll also notice we don't sleeve and weld our tie rods but rather use a single heavy wall tube for consistent, superior strength.

We have 2 different sizes of beefy DOM tubing available to fit just what you need. They are:

• 1 1/4" x .250 wall - A good upgrade over stock for a little cheaper price.  Only available in 7/8" thread for Heim joints or tie rod ends.

• 1 1/2" x .375 wall - Heavier wall thickness and larger diameter make this a considerable step up over the stock tierod.  Not unbendable but definitely tough and won't leave you broken for sure.   Only available in 7/8" thread for Heim joints or tie rod ends.

If you need even stronger linkage we can custom build 2" x .250 wall tierods, call for pricing as it's going to depend on your application.

This is our 1.5" .375" wall tie rod.

For crossover steering draglinks, check our D44 or D60 crossover steering pages.  Draglinks available from either tube size but 1 1/4 is typically fine for a draglink since they generally can't get hit by trail obstacles.

Tie rods do not come with a provision for the steering stabilizer, our solution for that is a stabilizer mounting bracket.
