Reid Racing HD Steering Knuckles - 10 bolt, Dana 44 & Dana 60

 

For Dana 44 and 10 bolt:

GM used two different styles of knuckles on their Dana 44's and 10 bolts.  Make sure to verify what you have before ordering, see below:

'77 and newer GM knuckle are tapered from the bottom so the castle nut is above the knuckle, we call this "nut up" style.

The '77 and later "nut up" style knuckle are only available in the passenger side version, this one is intended as a replacement knuckle for crossover steering conversions because none of the '77 and newer knuckles have a "flat top" that can be machined.  Because this is only available for the passenger side, they are sent bare steel.  The factory tie rod, ball joints, etc. will fit this knuckle, it is a direct replacement.  If you want both knuckles, order the "nut down" version, it will raise the tie rod up a few inches for better clearance and they are a direct swap onto the newer axles.

'76 and older GM knuckles are tapered from the top and so the castle nut is below the knuckle, we call this "nut down" style.

The '76 and older GM knuckles are "nut down" style.  They are available for either side and are powder coated orange.  They are a direct swap with the factory knuckles and accept all factory parts.

Ford kingpin Dana 60 driver's side knuckle, direct swap on 77-79 Ford D60's.  These fit 85-91 Ford Dana 60's but these knuckles are setup with a larger taper than stock, so they need to be replaced in pairs on those axles and a new tie rod with the larger ends must be used (we can supply that).
